With the speedy propulsion of such major strategies as the national 'One Belt,One Road' and the construction of Sino-Korean Free-trade Zone in addition to the construction and application of such transport infrastructure as the Qingdao-Yantai-Weihai-Rongcheng railway and the Penglai International Airport,the advantages of Yantai in policy,situation,industry and environment has become more obvious.According to Fanli Meng,secretary of the CPC in Yantai,centering on forging China's Yantai and the world's Yantai,Yantai is strongly promoting the internationalization of its marketing,industry,enterprises,parks and city to make Yantai a real internationalized city.During the process of internationalization,Yantai witnesses a new round of business investment and project construction.Fanli Meng compared the business investment and project construction as the 'lifeline' of the scientific development and the 'ox's nose' that links the overall situation.As he stated, 'We travelled far and visited thousands of households to talk a lot in different ways in an effort to make breakthrough in business investment and project construction.' According to the data,in the first six months of this year Yantai actually applied a foreign investment of$980 million with an increase of 11.8%.
