索绪尔语言符号学下的英汉航海习语比较研究

Analysis on the Comparison between English and Chinese Navigation Idioms under Saussure's Linguistic Semiotics

本文从索绪尔语言符号学观点的三个层面——心理性、社会性和不可变性与可变性比较中英航海习语的语符关系。研究发现,英汉航海习语的心理性差别较大,所指重合度低,文化意义的缺失和不对应所占比例较大。同时,在社会性和不可变性与可变性两个层面上则有较大的共通性。因此,课题组得出结论:航海习语语符的意义与集团内部的心理性有强相关性,与社会文化和语言符号变迁是弱相关。

From three aspects of Saussure＇s linguistic semiotics： psychological, social , invariability and variability, this paper compares the language sign connection of English and Chinese navigation idiom. The study finds that there is a big psychological difference between English and Chinese navigation idiom, the signified contact ratio is low, and the deficiency and non-correspondence of cultural significance take a bigger proportion. Meanwhile, there are greater intercommunity between English and Chinese navigation idiom from the aspects of invariability and variability. Therefore, the research group conclude that there is a strong correlation between the significance of navigation idioms signs and the psychology of internal group, and a weak correlation between the significance of navigation idioms signs and the transition of social culture and language sign.
