Araby,the third short stories of Jame＇s Dubliners,made use of simple and clear plot to show the growth of the protagonist. Aside from character,environmental painting,the detail descriptions for the conflict between imagination and reality are clear and bright. Therefore,the theme and process of growth were reflected more profound.
