摘要
GIS是在计算机硬、软件系统支持下,对整个或部分地球表层(包括大气层)空间中的有关地理分布数据进行采集、储存、管理、运算、分析、显示和描述的技术系统。已经被广泛地应用于林业生产和经营管理及监测等各方面,利用GIS技术进行森林资源的动态变化研究,促进森林资源研究由静态向动态转变,真正实现森林资源监测。
GIS is a support system of computer hardware/software , by which it is possible to gather, store, manage, operating, analysis, display and describe the geographical distribution of the whole or part of the epigeosphere (including the atmosphere) space data . The GIS technology , widely- applied to forestry production, management and monitoring and so on various aspects, also can be used to research the dynamic changes of forest resources, to promote the forest resources transformation from static state into dynamic state and fulfill the forestry monitoring.
