墨家精神与侠文化之间存在着千丝万缕的联系,具体表现在墨家具有一些"侠"的精神并把它提升到了"任"的层次,这种"任侠"精神具有着贵义重诺、轻生赴死、替天行道,为弱者立言的特点及浓烈的乌托邦色彩。后世墨家逐渐衰微,其"任侠"之气却作为民族文化的一股源流凸显在后世文人的价值标准与行为准则、精神气质及创作思想、政治思想及救国理想上,留给我们愈加厚重的思想文化财富。
