摘要
OPSD(智能光通道切换装置)由OLP(光线路保护设备)和操作维护终端组成,具有光功率监测、光路自动切换以及网络管理等功能。在光通信网络中,OLP实时监测工作光纤和备用光纤上的光功率,当监测到工作光纤上的光功率值低于设定的切换门限时,立即发出告警提示并自动切换到备用光纤,从而实现对光传输系统线路的保护。以OPSD在杭州地区电力通信中的应用实践为例,探讨了其在电力通信尤其是电网继电保护中的应用前景,为组建一个无阻断、高可靠性、安全灵活、抗灾害能力强的光通信网提供技术支撑。
OPSD(optical path switching device), comprising OLP(optical line protection) equipment and the operation and maintenance terminals, owns the functions of light power monitoring, automatic optical path switching and networks management. In optical communication network, OLP monitors optical power of work-ing optical fiber and spare optical fiber in real time. When the monitored optical power of the working optical fiber is lower than the preset switching threshold, there are alarm and automatic switching to the spare optical fiber so as to protect lines of optical transmission system. The paper takes the application of OPSD in Hangzhou electric power communication as an example and discusses its application prospect in electric power commu-nication, in particular power system relay protection, providing technical support for construction of non-blocking, highly reliable, flexible and safe and strongly disaster-resistant optical communication networks.
