Xinjiang is a place with various ethnic groups and diversified cultures; ethnic groups in ,Xinjiang, with their wisdom and diligence, created splendid regional cultures that enrich China＇s national culture. Xinjiang International Dance Festival is one of major projects under the Plan of Promoting the Development of Xinjiang with Culture which is implemented by the Ministry of Culture. Under the concerted efforts from different parties, this festival will become a big artistic event that shows China＇s cultural features and Xinjiang characteristics and that is in line with international standards, a popular festival that demonstrates China＇s cultural charm and promotes civilization and harmony, and a bridge of cultural communications for countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt.
