The novel Sula written by Toni Morrison deeply shows the tragic fate of black women under the racial and sexual discrimination. On the one hand, Morrison pointed out the self-identity dilemma of the black women. On the other hand, she completed the reconstruction of identity of black women from four sides, including the consciousness of independent body, economy, thought, as well as the national consciousness.
