On Kuhn′s View of Thought Experiments

托马斯·库恩在《思想实验的作用》一文中对思想实验的作用条件、作用机制和作用效果三方面进行了分析,并选取心理学和物理学上著名的思想实验案例加以详尽论证。在《必要的张力》一书德文版序言中,库恩对其《思想实验的作用》一文在"范式"和"不可通约性"两个核心概念发展过程中的影响给予重新评价和反思。可以说,库恩的思想实验观是理解库恩思想历程不可或缺的部分,对研究科学哲学的历史转向和诠释学转向具有重要意义。

In Functionsof Thought Experiment（1964）,Thomas Kuhn analyzes the conditions,mech-anism and effects of thought experiment and discusses in detail the psychological and physical well-known thought experiment .In the preface to the German edition of The Essential Tension,he reap-praises the influence of the two core concepts：“paradigm”and “incommensurability”in Functions of Thought Experiment It can be said that Kuhn′s view of thought experiment is an indispensable part to understanding of Kuhn′s thought.It also has an important significance to the study of development of philosophy of science and hermeneutics.
