劳动力技能结构与技术进步引致的经济增长——基于中国经验的实证研究

Technology Choice and the Economic Growth Forced by Technological Progress——An Empirical Study of Chinese Experience

本文利用中国1999—2008年28个省、市、自治区的数据,从劳动力技能结构与技术水平匹配的角度解释技术进步对经济增长的贡献率的差异。结果表明:单纯的技术进步不能有效促进经济增长,技术水平与劳动力技能结构同步提升才能有效促进技术进步贡献率的提高。与劳动力技能结构匹配的技术进步才能有效提升中国经济增长绩效,技术进步对经济增长的促进作用依赖于劳动力技能结构的提升。

Using data of 28 provinces in China from 1999 to 2008 , this paper tries to explain the contribution of technological progress on economic growth from the promotion of labor structure and technological level .The result demonstrates that pure technological progress cannot promote economic performance ,and the contribution of technological progress on economic growth relies on simultaneous improvement of technological level and labor skill structure .Only the technological progress which is matched to labor skill structure can promote economic performance , and the effect of technological change on economic growth relies on promotion of labor skill structure .
