This interview with world renowned translation theorist Douglas Robinson will tell us more about his academic background, his research interests, as well as his latest publications. Prof. Robinson tries to explain briefly his theoretical frameworks and contributions like somatic theory, Translation and the Prob- lem of Sway, etc. Meanwhile, he also clarifies his criticism on Venuti＇ s binary opposition between for- eignization and domestication. Finally, he shares with us his observations of the latest developments in translation studies.
