摘要
博雅教育,作为一种哲学理念的存在,回答了教育对于人的作用问题——促进学生知识发展,注重学生心智能力各方面的发展与提高,使人具有完善的人格,亦即促进学生的全面自由的发展。学校在这样的理念指导下,积极进行校本课程的开发——构建了"博雅课程"。真正意义上的博雅课程是面向全体的,富有生命活力的博雅课程是体现人性的,关照个体心智的博雅课程是超越功利的。
Liberal Arts Education, as a philosophical idea, answers the question on the role of education for people, such as facilitating students' development of knowledge and mentality in various ways, and cultivating human into a person with perfect personality. Under the guidance of such idea, school makes an active exploitation of school-based curricula and constructs the Liberal Arts Courses, the essence of which is to face all the students, the vitality of which embodies humanity, and the personal mentality of which is beyond utility and benefit.
