Throughout the status quo of conservation of Linong housing in Shanghai,the paper analyzes the strategy and basic way of conservation of historic culture of city from the government level,developer level and residents level three angles. The present situation and the importance of the conservation of Linong housing are presented. As a result,it has provided several new pattern for the conservation of Linong housing.
