作为世界顶级名校公开课之一,耶鲁大学的"文学理论导论"课程在世界范围内享有广泛声誉。华中师大文学院"美国周"项目代表团访美期间,有幸拜访了主讲该课程的保罗·弗莱教授,并就全球化视野中的教育理念、后现代时期的文学理论本质、当前文化环境下的文学标准、文学理论在大学教育中的作用等问题进行了深入交流。热烈而深入的会谈在友好的气氛中结束,也为文学院与耶鲁大学即将开展的合作奠定了良好基础。

As one of the world＇s top elite open classes, Yale University＇s ＂Introduction to Literary Theory＂ course enjoys a wide reputation in the world. During the ＂American Week＂ program held by CCNU, School of Chinese Language and Literature delegation visited Professor Paul Fry, the teacher of the course. They discussed deeply the education philosophy in the context of globalization, the nature of literary theory in the post-modern era, literary standards in current cultural environment, and the role of literary theory in higher education nowadays. The hot and deep talks ended in a friendly atmosphere, which also laid a good foundation for the upcoming cooperation between CCNU and Yale University.
