Multiple Interpretations of Yoga Modernization

运用文献资料法、历史与逻辑分析法对瑜伽这一传统体育项目在发展过程中所呈现出的现代化现象进行解读,发现其当下的主要特色表现为瑜伽的女性化转向、消费性转向和科学化的转向;并根据其发展特征,主要从从女性主义运动与消费主义价值观,以及现代体育科学化的视角对瑜伽越来越盛行的现象进行原因探析。

In this paper, with the use of literature, history and logic analysis method, through the interpretation of a traditional sport-yoga, in the development process by showing the modern phenomenon, we find that the main features of its current performance： the feminization of yoga, transfer towards consumption and science direction. According to the characteristics of its development, the article analyzes the causes for the phenomena that the yoga is increasingly popular, mainly from the feminist movement and consumerism value view and modern sports scientific perspective.
