大西南是我国少数民族最重要的聚居区域之一,同时,亦是最密集的多民族聚居区域,在数千年的少数民族之间近距离接触的过程当中,我国大西南少数民族之间形成了跨文化的由相互欣赏、相互学习、相互尊重进而形成的相互渗透,同时,从超越文化的视角来看,大西南少数民族之间的相互融合亦由来已久。
