Integrating into Nature and Constructing Self An Eco-feminist Approach to Herland

在《她乡》中,美国女作家夏洛特·帕金斯·吉尔曼通过解构人类中心主义和男性中心主义意识,构建了一个人类与自然和谐相融、人与人平等和关爱等女性价值观基础上的生态乌托邦。这恰好与当下生态女性主义所关注的问题相吻合。本文通过对生态女性主义的解析,解读小说《她乡》中所蕴含的生态意识和女性意识,从而得出只有遵循生态女性主义,解救自然生态与人类自我,建设一个人类与自然和谐统一的生态系统,人类社会才能够进步和发展。

In her literary work Herland,Charlotte Perkins Gilman,a female American writer,decomposes the anthropocentrism and androcentrism in order to construct an ecological utopia,which is characterized by the harmonious relationship between human and nature. All of these coincide with the primary concerns in eco-feminism. This paper tries to interpret the ecological and feminist consciousness in the novel. It is concluded that a harmonious society will be established,in which patriarchy no longer consider nature and female as ＂others＂.
