摘要
稀土离子掺杂的无序激光晶体,具有宽的发射光谱和较高的热导率,在超短脉冲研究应用中受到广泛关注。利用提拉法生长无序激光晶体Nd:BaLaGa3O7,测量室温下偏振吸收谱、发射谱及荧光寿命表征其光谱性能。Nd:BaLaGa3O7在808nm处的吸收半峰全宽达到15nm,4F3/2→4Ⅰ11/2发射半峰全宽为27nm,受激发射截面为3×1020cm2,荧光寿命为311μs,是优良的超短脉冲激光增益材料。实验对Nd:BaLaGa3O7光谱性质的表征对其在激光中的应用具有重要指导意义。
Rare earth-ion doped, disordered laser crystals have attracted a great deal of research interest because of their broad emission spectra and high thermal conductivity. Nd: BaLaGa307 crystal is grown by the Czochralski method. The polarized absorption, emission spectra, and the fluorescence lifetime are measured at room temperature. The bandwidth at 808 nm is found to be 15 nm. The 4F3/2→Ⅰ11/2 luminescence bandwidth and the stimulated emission cross section are 27 nm and 4.24× 10 20 cm2 respectively. The 4F3/2 lifetime is calculated to be 311 μs. Disordered crystal Nd: BaLaGa307 is an excellent ultrafast pulse laser gain material, and the spectroscopic characterization will provide a basis for its laser application.
