《天问》“启棘宾商,九辩九歌”句新解

New Interpretation of the Sentence “Qi Ji Bin Shang,Jiubian Jiuge”in Tianwen

对《天问》"启棘宾商,九辩九歌"句的解读历来众说纷纭,至今未有定论。文章综合分析各家观点,适当取舍,并结合殷商甲骨文等史学、文字学研究成果,认为"启棘宾商,九辩九歌"指的是启急切希望自己将来能升天宾于天帝,于是以表演《九辩》《九歌》这样的乐舞来彰显自己功德,祭祀取悦上帝。

As interpretations of the sentence'Qi ji bin shang,Jiubian Jiuge'in Tianwen vary,no unanimous conclusion has been reached so far. Having analyzed the interpretations comprehensively so as to examine and select appropriately,the thesis,and referred to the research results in historiography and philology of inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells in Shang Dynasty,comes to a conclusion that the meaning of the sentence is: Qi,the king in Xia Dynasty,put on the song-and-dance performance,Jiubian and Jiuge,to show his feats to please the God,because he desperately wanted to be an immortal.
