摘要
新历史主义是苏童小说的一种独特技巧,他以虚构化的叙事手法创作了一系列新历史主义小说。这一系列小说都有一个对应的符号即篇名,旨在高度概括作者的思想情感,此外,意象的大量使用是苏童写作的一个习惯,文中出现了两类意象:一类是乡村与城市、宫内与宫外等二元对立的空间意象,一类是"井""街道""罂粟花"等事物意象,它们不再是一个个具体的实物,而是成为了一种意象符号。苏童还运用镜像符号来塑造人物群像,他给读者呈现了自我与梦境、自我与他者两种对照方式,这些符号的运用是苏童思考人类生存危机与宿命论的结果。
The new historicism is a kind of unique skill used in Su tong's novels. He creates a series of new historicism novels by a fictionalized narrative technique. The series of novels have a corresponding symbol, namely title, which the author aims to generalize the thoughts and feelings. In addition, the use of imagery is a writing habit of Su tong. Two types of images are adopted in his novels: one is binary space imagery between rural areas and urban areas, intrauterine and outside the palace; the other is the image of things, such as: "well", "street", "poppy". They are no longer a specific physical objects,but become a kind of imagery symbols. Su Tong also used image symbols to portray the characters that he presents to the reader two kinds of control ways, namely, self and dreams, self and the other. The use of these symbols is the result of his thinking about human survival crisis and fatalism.
