Virginia Woolf, an outstanding English modern novelist and master of stream of consciousness, is the queen of London Bloomsbury Group which is also regarded as the elegant England Lily. Woolf is renowned for her fresh ideas, symbolic beauty and delicate taste in her works. In A Room of One's Own, she puts forward her philosophic idea of androgyny, which is the harmonious coexistence and cooperation of the two sexes in art and literary creation, which paves the way for the development of feminist criticism. From her idea of androgyny, this paper mainly illuminates how Woolf breaks through the traditional shackles and forms her own unique writing theory in literary creation, and through analyzing her works Mrs. Dalloway and To the Lighthouse, explores her highest state of the concept of literary creation: to build a harmonious bisexual "I".
