试论《闽南圣诗》的音乐元素

Musical Factors in “Southern Min Chant”

《闽南圣诗》是一本为福建闽南地区及东南亚闽南方言区的基督教会所广泛使用、采用闽南语吟唱的音乐圣诗,是19世纪末西方音乐传入福建社会的有力见证。立足于圣诗音乐形态的本体分析,追溯和挖掘圣诗后面的西方音乐文化因素,对圣诗在闽南的起源、传播、发展作一历史性的还原,探求基督教音乐创作中强烈的民族认同和探索精神。

＂Southern Min Chant＂ is a Hokkien- based chant widely adopted by Christian clubs residing in Minnan dialect area of Fujian and Southeast Asia, one powerful testimony of Western music spreading into Fujian society at the end of the 19th century. By focusing on the analysis of the music form itself, this paper attempts to trace and unearth factors of western music culture behind the verse, historically recover the origin and development of hymns in Minnan area, and seek the strong national identity and spirit of exploration in Christian music composition.
