基于水城意象的城市交通空间规划设计思考——以江南水乡城市为例

Urban Transportation Space Planning and Design for Waterfront Cities: Taking Jiangnan Water Towns as Examples

中国传统江南水乡城市的特色正面临消失的危机,维护、传承和发展水城意象对水乡城市特色塑造、形象营建具有重要的意义。通过对历史水乡城市的分析,指出交通空间与城市水系的相依相生是水城特色形成的重要因素,而这种关系的断裂正是目前水城意象褪色的主要原因。借鉴城市意象理论,论证重建交通空间与城市水系关系的可能性。提出以交通空间尽可能与城市水系结伴为目标的道路交通规划思路和方法,包括人行道和自行车道与水系结合、复兴水上交通、城市综合性道路与水系结合、交通换乘节点与水系结合等。

Characteristics of traditional Chinese Jiangnan water towns are at the risk of disappearance.Maintaining and developing waterfront cities are important for their characteristic creation and town image building. By analyzing historic waterfront cities, this paper points out that the inter- dependence between transportation space and the urban water system is a key element for formation of waterfront cities, while the broken relationship results in the fading of waterfront cities. Based on the theory of city image, the paper presents the possibility of rebuilding the relationship between transportation space and the urban water system and proposes roadway planning strategies based on the integration of transportation space and urban water system, including integration of sidewalks/bicycle lanes and water system, revival of water transportation, integration of comprehensive urban roadways, transfer points and water system.
