A preliminary research on the traditional medicine of Xibo

锡伯医药源于古代鲜卑人的治疗经验,早期与宗教有较多的联系,在漫长传承过程中自身不断总结,又融入其他民族医学,形成了以阴阳五行为理论基础,三部诊病法,靶相学说,五方用药用膳的配制原则,临床常采用火针、火罐等民间疗法的锡伯医药学。

The traditional medicine of Xibo comes from ancient treatment experience of Xianbei nationality, which has more rela- tionship with religion in the early time. Through summing up the treatment experience and integrating other ethnic medicine in the long process of development, the traditional medicine of Xibo has been gradually formed. This medicine which based on Yin - yang and Five - element theory has taken three part pulse examination, target theory, and five direction medication or diet as its principles. Besides, the traditional medicine of Xibo often takes medical treatment such as fire - needle and cupping jar on clinic.
