Regular Damage Patterns and Population Dynamics of Lixus subtilis Boheman in Beet

采用定点、定期系统调查,统计甜菜筒喙象发生数量,明确该虫在新疆伊犁地区田间危害规律及消长动态,为防治该虫提供依据。调查结果显示,在新疆伊犁地区,甜菜筒喙象越冬成虫4月中下旬出土,4月下旬产卵,产卵高峰期为5月中下旬;卵孵化高峰期为6月中旬至7月上旬;化蛹高峰期为7月中旬至7月下旬;成虫羽化高峰期为8月上旬至8月下旬。甜菜筒喙象幼虫从5月上中旬至9月中下旬在田间均有危害,危害高峰期为6月中旬至7月上旬,该时期甜菜受害最重。

The quantity of Lixus subtilis Boheman in beet was investigated by systematic investigations in the definite sites and times, to find out the regular damage patterns and population dynamics of Lixus subtilis Boheman in Yi-li area Xinjiang, in order to provide the basis for its prevention and control strategies. Results in Ili area, its overwintering imagoes begin to come out from the soil in the mid and late April, and oviposit in the late April, oviposition peak in mid and late May; egg hatching peak was from the mid June to the early July; pupation peak was from mid July to end of July; eclosion peak was from early to end of August. Its larvae occurred in the fields from early and mid May to mid and late September, and the occurrence peak was from mid June to early of July while sugar beets were damaged most severely.
