Countermeasures and Suggestions for Forest Land Protection in Gan County

赣县是赣南原中央苏区18个县之一,人口61.6万人,国土面积2 993 km2,林业用地22.87万km2,占国土面积的76.4%,全县森林活立木蓄积量691.8万m3,单位乔木林生产力34.3 m3/hm2,占全省的76.89%,林业产值7 570万元,人均123.69元。为贯彻落实国务院《关于支持赣南等原中央苏区振兴发展的若干意见》,绿色崛起,必须从严保护林地、节约集约林地、优化林地资源配置,在科学经营森林资源上下功夫,把林业产业做强做大,为经济社会发展做出更大的贡献。

Gan county is one of the 18 counties in the Central Soviet Area Gannan. Population is 61. 6million,the land area is 2 993 km2,forestry land is 22. 87 million km2,occupied 76. 4% of the land area. The county forest stumpage volume had 69. 18 million m3. The unit arbor productivity is 34. 3m3/ hm2,occupied 76. 89% of Jiangxi Province. Forestry output value is 7 570 million yuan,however the average output value per capita is 123. 69 yuan. In order to implement the State Council＂opinions on the support of revitalization and development in Gannan and the Central Soviet area＂and green development,we have to strictly protect forest,economize and intensive manage forest land,optimize land resources allocation. On developing bigger and stronger forestry industry,making greater contributions to the economic and social development,we must effort to scientifically manage forest resources.
