思辨能力的培养是当今英语专业学生培养的一个重要的目标,它既能够提升英语学习者的工具性语言技能,更重要的是可以解决英语专业学生知识面狭窄,逻辑思维薄弱的问题。以内容为依托的写作教学方式将语言学习与主题学习相结合,将写作能力的培养与思维的批判过程统一起来,循序渐进,相互促进,增强学生的学习动机,发挥学生学习的主观能动性,以达到写作能力和思辨能力共同发展。

Acquiring critical thinking skill is an important objective for English majors. It not only can improve learners＇ linguistic skills, but also can cope with the situation of poor logic thinking and narrow range of knowledge. CBI writing process which combines linguistic study with critical thinking process can strengthen students＇ motivation and develop students＇ writing ability and critical thinking ability.
