American Literature is one of the main courses designed for the senior students of English major, and is an important way to cultivate the English majors＇ critical thinking. Under the influence of Multiculturalism, how to reconstruct the teaching materials and design a new teaching model with the aim of cultivating the students＇ critical thinking become the urgent problems faced by the teachers.
