Wushu Development in Context of China Rejuvenation

近代以降的百年武术发展之路充满了爱国进取的武术事件和正态能量,同时也伴随着以奥林匹克运动为镜的特殊命运和综合反思。中华伟大复兴决定了坚守武术"中国属性"、正视武术"俗文化特征"以及"民间话语"的重要意义。当代武术传播必须要能够解开百年奥运心结并确立中国话语方式,树立"以人为本"的文化战略,提升武术人口的整体素养对于武术可持续发展至关重要。

There have been many discussions on patriotic events and positive energy of Wushu and how Wushu could be included in the Olympic Games. To realize the Chinese rejuvenation, it is important to keep the Chinese characteristics of Wushu and keep it as part of the folk culture. It is more important to develop Wushu for all the people instead of focusing on its inclusion in the Olympic Games.
