Design of 200-600MHz 6-Bit CMOS Active Phase Shifter

摘要 采用0.18μm CMOS工艺设计了一种200-800MHz 6-Bit有源移相器,基于低噪声有源巴伦和三阶多相滤波器设计方案,在提高工作带宽和移相精度的基础上,降低了噪声系数。后仿真结果显示:移相器典型增益10d B,噪声系数优于15d B;在-55^+85℃宽温范围内全频带RMS移相精度小于2.8°,常温工作条件下300~700MHz频段内RMS移相精度小于1°;工作电压3.3V,工作电流14.7m A,芯片面积1.3×1mm2。 A 200-800MHz 6-Bit active phase shifter in 0.18 μ m CMOS technology is developed based on the topoi- ogy of low noise active balun and three-stage poly phase filter, which can achieve wide operation bandwidth, low RMS phase error, and improved noise figure. Post simulation results are presented. The typical gain is 10dB and the noise figure is better than 15dB. For -55 ~ +85℃ operating temperature, the RMS phase error is less than 2.8° in band- width, less than 1° in 300-700MHz bandwidth at the room temperature. The total current consumption is 14.7mA from a 3.3V supply voltage, and the chip size is 1.3 × lmm2.
