Family is the home to the soul of human beings,and the center where people experience emotionally as well. In The Human Stain,it is deeply concerned about the family and love relationship in contemporary society,namely the relationship between father and son,husband and wife,and lovers. Philip Roth exposes the conflict between two generations and condemns the egoism in love and marriage.
