Talking about the Zen Stone

在当今赏石界,人们常常说到禅石。然禅石究竟该是什么形态和意蕴,却众说纷纭,见解不一。笔者也曾因此而困惑,故不得不去作一些学习和研究。现抛砖引玉,以求教于方家。一、禅石的意蕴禅石因附禅意而得其名,故如欲弄清禅石,必先须搞懂"禅"意。何为禅?禅乃禅宗佛教梵语"禅那"之音译,意为"静虑"。

What is the Zen stone? The author thinks that Zen stone should be the one has implicit implication and far-reaching conception,it can makes people get into static state and thinks deeply.Our hearts and feelings will find a perfect response when we look at the stone.Zen stone is welcomed because of its pregnant meaning and elegant taste in recent years.So,the connotation of Zen stone should reflect the spirit of Zen,the thought of Zen and the mood of Zen.The heart source,gradual realization and sudden realization are three states of Zen that can be initiated by stone,and develop at a deeper level,at last understand the humanity and reach "Buddha-nature".That process should be:stones are the source,hearts with wings will take us to the Buddha at the other shore.Zen stone is highly regarded in today’s stone circle because its conciseness,elegance and intriguing meaning that can lead people to attain enlightenment,reduce the worry,get rid of the trouble,enter into a bright and sensible state of mind.
