Sayings are one important part of language, and language is the carrier of culture. It reflects all aspects of it. Due to the difference in history, geography, religion and value concepts, many cultural elements can he seen in sayings. The paper mainly analyses the cultural elements in Chinese and English Sayings, so as to provide a new perspective for language learners.
