儿童糖尿病13例报告

JUVENILE DIABETES MELLITUS IN CHILDREN:REPORT OF 13 CASES

11年期间共收治儿童糖尿病13例,除1例外,均无明确的家族遗传史。全部患儿属重型,治疗全部依赖胰岛素。远期随访10例,死亡4例,2例死于酮症酸中毒,1例死于肺炎,1例死于肺结核;6例存活,但仍依赖胰岛素,且均有轻重不同的慢性并发症。

Thirteen cases 6 males and 7 females of juvenile diabetes mellitus were admitted from 1974～1985. Their age ranged from 18 months to 12 years. There was only case familial hereidity. All patients depended oninsulin. The objectives of ideal therapy were discussed in this paper. Acute and chronic complications were observed in these patients, of the 10 followed-up cases, 4 cases died, 2 died of ketoacidosis, 1 died Of pneumonia.1 died of tuberculosis. 6 cases are still alive with administration of insulin and with various degrees of chronic complication
