English major teachers＇ cultural personality can be divided into five types ： zealous-supportive, close-kindly, grace- ful-directive, authoritative and indifferent. In the course of educational activities teachers of positive cultural personality appear to be in a state of being autonomous, liberal,innovative, and transcendental. And this state shows their genuine respect for life and their genuine concern for students＇ personality development and individuals＇ pursuit of happiness. Students＇ overall qualities are bound up to their teachers＇ cultural personalities in performance.
