图书馆读者服务是一种关系到人际语言、交往行为、情感态度的"艺术"。随着社会发展对知识型人才需求的日益增加,越来越多的人涌入图书馆充实、丰富自身知识储备和思想内涵。面对这种局面,如何更好地展开读者服务已成为现代图书馆发展进程中必须解决的重要问题。阐述了图书馆读者服务艺术的内涵及其基本特征,探讨了读者服务艺术的重要功能与基本内容,以进一步完善图书馆读者服务艺术的理论体系。

Library＇s reader service is a kind of art relevant to human language, communicative behavior, and emotional attitude. Along with the increasing demand of social development for knowledge-based talents, more and more people are crowded into the library to enrich their knowledge reserves and ideological connotations. In the face of such situation, how to carries better out the reader service has become an important problem must be solved by the modern library in its developing process. This paper expounds the connotations and basic features of library＇s reader service art, and probes into the important functions and basic contents of reader service art to further improve the theoretical system of library＇s reader service art.
