This paper expounds the concept of the reading promotion, and according to the experiences of participating in the seminar of the reading promotion of university libraries in Hunan Province, sums up the innovation of the reading promotion activities of the colleges and universities in Hunan Province,and puts forward some suggestions on further improve the reading promotion.
