How to Improve the Current Ideological Work of the Armed Forces

意识形态工作作为思想政治建设的重要内容，直接关系到部队的高度稳定和集中统一，关系到强军目标的顺利实现。必须深刻认识意识形态领域斗争的长期性、复杂性和严峻性，以强烈的紧迫感和危机感，切实加强对意识形态工作的组织领导；扎实做好强魂固本工作，努力打好意识形态领域斗争的主动仗；强化阵地意识，大力弘扬健康向上的主流思想文化；坚持疏堵结合、综合治理，坚决防止敌对势力渗透侵蚀。

As an important aspect of the ideological and political construction, the ideological work directly relates to the highly stabilization and centralization of the armed forces, and to the achieve- ment of strong military target. Therefore, we should deeply understand that the battles in the ideo- logical field are tough, complicated and prolonged. We must strengthen the organization and leader- ship of ideological work with a strong sense of urgency and crisis. We should try best to win the battle in ideological field, and do well the job of strong soul and strengthen foundation. We shall hold our ground and push the healthy mainstream culture vigorously. By using the method of com- bining the dredge and blockage, as well as comprehensive adjustment, we firmly work hard to pre- vent the enemies from eroding our national power.
