Before and during World War Ⅱ,Soviet-made artillery gained tremendous development. In the eyes of German soldiers,Soviet artillery was not only huge in number,but also advanced in technology and formidable in firepower. Besides,there were many innovations in tactics. It is true that the Germans expressed some criticism about the Soviet-made artillery,but at the same time,they generally acknowledged that it did possess superior performance.
