Sino-US military mental health: a comparative analysis on concepts,evaluation and training

从《孙子兵法》追求的＂不战而屈人之兵＂,到为打赢现代高科技信息化战争的中国特色军事变革、军队现代化建设,军人心理在现代多样化军事任务中的作用与影响愈发重要。据美军研究发现,现代战场的突发性、残酷性、复杂性、对抗性,官兵心理疾病发生率显著升高,已成为影响部队士气、造成非战斗减员的重要。

With the modernization construction in the army,military mental health has been valued as an important component of the overall combat effectiveness of the armed forces,as well as an important guarantee to win future wars. The ways to effectively maintain military mental health and to improve military mental quality have become key research projects in troops. In this paper,a comparative analysis had been made on Chinese and American military mental health-related concepts and theories,evaluation indicators,and the development of mental health education and training models. And on this basis,we put forward to proposals and thoughts on military mental health education and training with Chinese characteristics.
