教育发展与地方高校图书馆管理审思

Reflections on Development of Education and Management of University Library

在教育发展背景下,地方高校图书馆功能不断拓展,在校园文化建设、数字化资源系统建设、大学生人格教育等方面形成新的作用。审思地方高校图书馆管理工作,其主要问题是:(1)服务对象观念不明确;(2)管理人员素质不高;(3)信息化管理力度不够。高校图书馆建设应纳入学校发展规划,管理者应认真理解服务对象,改变重图书轻管理的习惯,向开放式管理转化,大力提升信息化程度,让图书馆发挥出积极的教育价值。

As education advances,libraries of local universities extend their functions into campus culture construction,digital resource system building,personality education of university students and oth-er areas. Reflections on management of university libraries,however,find the following problems in library management：1 ）ambiguous identification of service objects;2 ）limited expertise of the library managerial staff;and 3）inadequate IT-based management capability. Construction of the library should be integrat-ed into the whole plan of the university and the administrators should better understand the objects of their service,shift more of their attention from collection of books to management,open the library wider and a-dopt more IT application to enable the library to play a greater role in education.
