The Progress of Tea Germplasm and Black Tea Breeding in the Major Tea-producing Countries

茶树种质资源是茶树品种选育的材料基础。本文系统阐述了世界茶叶主产国在茶树资源收集、保存和鉴定评价方面所取得的进展,着重对红茶化学特性、红茶育种的研究成果进行论述。同时,对未来茶树育种的发展方向进行探讨。

Tea germplasm are the fundamental of the cultivar development. In this paper, the achievements and progress of tea germplasm had been systematically reviewed in collection, conservation and identification. The chemical characteristics and the cuhivar achievements were elaborated of black tea. The trend of cultivar breeding was discussed and prospected.
