“不立廉洁”与“不离廉洁”——禅宗文化中“廉洁”真义及其当代价值

“ Not-Setting-up Honesty ” and “ Not-Adherence Honesty ”:Honesty's True Meaning and Contemporary Significance in Zen Culture

禅宗是我国重要的文化传统之一,其中包含的廉洁思想影响至今。禅宗廉洁指因破除无明而认识到世界现象的虚幻不实而对外物没有贪欲。禅宗可谓"不立廉洁"和"不离廉洁",即不执着于廉洁。禅宗廉洁与社会主义廉洁虽有根本不同,但都讲究自我修炼,对于我们建设社会主义廉洁文化有着重要的借鉴意义。对于禅宗信仰者而言,禅宗廉洁是其行动指南;对于非禅宗信仰者之外的广大人民群众而言,禅宗廉洁提供了一个新的角度认识廉洁文化,即不执着于廉洁:廉洁是我们今天工作中的重要工作要求,但它并非唯一的要求。

Zen is one of the important cultural traditions and Zen＇ s honesty considerations has an impact even today. Zen honesty means to get rid of ignorance and recognize that the world phenomenon is unreal and there should be no greed for any external things. Zen＇s honesty is ＂not-setting-up honesty＂ and ＂not-adherence honesty.＂ Although Zen＇s honesty culture is very different from socialism honesty culture, they both pay much attention to self-cultivation. Zen＇s honesty culture can well be referred to today in building socialism honest culture. For Zen＇s followers and practitioners, Zen＇s honesty is their guide of action. For non-believers of Zen, the Zen honest culture provides a new perspective and understanding of honest culture. That is to say, honesty is an important requirement of our work, but it is not the only requirement.
