摘要
电视字幕翻译在我国是一个新兴领域,本文采用韩礼德的衔接与连贯和语域视角理论,李运兴的缩减策略以及韦努蒂的异化翻译理论,对央视国际频道的访谈专题节目《文明之旅》之"向《论语》借智慧"的字幕翻译进行个案分析,旨在发现官方字幕译员的翻译目的以及翻译策略的实用性,为电视节目字幕翻译研究提供新的研究视角。
The subtitle translation of TV program is a new and emerging research field in China. This paper is a case study of the official subtitling of ＂The Wisdom of the Analects of Confucius＂,an episode of the CCTV-4program of ＂Journey of Civilization＂,and detailed analyses are made based on the following theories： cohesion and coherence theory as well as register theory by Halliday,deduction strategy by Li Yunxing and Lawrence Venuti＇ s foreignizing translation theory in order to explore translators＇ purpose of translation and practicability of translation strategies. This paper aims to provide new research perspectives for subtitle translation and draw more of researcher＇ s attention to the development of the emerging area of TV program subtitle translation.
