Avoid the Copyright Risk of University Digital Library Construction——Comment on Authors Guild Vs Hathi Trust

在Web2.0、Web3.0以及云计算等新技术的推动下,高校数字图书馆建设面临着前所未有的机遇,但对印刷作品的大规模数字化利用,也伴随着一定的版权风险。以美国高校数字图书馆联盟的数字图书馆建设经验为鉴,中国高校在数字图书馆建设过程中,应合理预见可能存在的版权风险,通过设置用户权限,采取合理水平的技术与安全措施,以实现版权风险的规避。

In the promotion of new technology of Web2.0, Web3.0 and cloud computing, the construction of university digital library is faced with hitherto unknown opportunities, but for large-scale use of printed works, is also accompanied by the risk of copyright. Based on the experience of HDL, the construction of China digital library of universities should foresees the copyright risk, by setting the user permissions, take the technology and safety measures to avoid the risk.
