This paper focuses on comparing some tests which are the mechanical strength tests and resistance to heat tests in UL2388 and GB7000.9 for flexible lighting. Based on the explicit contrast of the test items, the test equipments, test parameters and the quality acceptance standards, it summarizes some points that the designers and testing person should especially pay attention to. It also put forward some tentative suggestions to make the test items more instructive.
