《续琵琶》是曹寅的一部传奇剧作,以汉末战乱为背景,围绕东汉时期蔡邕父女两代人修复汉史一事展开,着重刻画了曹操、蔡邕、文姬三个人物。其中,文姬作为一代才女,作者将其塑造为一位坚毅、隐忍、孝顺的女性形象,这些品质在一般女性身上也常常见到,但因特殊的经历和使命,在文姬的身上,又有了更深刻的意义。

＂Continued Pipa＂ is a legendary play of CaoYin. In the context of the late Han war, the play described two generations＇ career in repairing the history of Han Dynasty and depicted three people, including Cao Cao,Cai Yong and Wen Ji. As a talented woman, she is portrayed as a female of determination, tolerance, filialty piety. These qualities in general women are often seen, but the special experience and mission should be of more profound significance for Wen Ji.
