Patriotic Consciousness in SHEN Cong-wen's Novels

一直以来有人把沈从文视为不问政事的伪知识分子。实际上在沈从文的众多小说中,都反映出他理智的爱国情怀、对国民党的控诉和对共产党人的赞扬,流露出对人民、民族、国家的殷切关怀,展现了沈从文的赤子之心和忧国忧民意识。

SHEN Cong-wen, was a writer from Western Hunan who demonstrated himself in Chinese literary world in the twenties of 20th century. Also, he pioneered a typical road of literary creation through his unique Western Hunan-style writing. He had made great contribution to the Chinese contemporary and modem literature. But someone had not acknowledged his literature achievement and status .He had also been these people seen as disguised intellectual ,who had no passion to politics affairs, but his tremendous novels have showed that SHEN Cong-wen had great concern with people, nationality and country ,that has displayed that SHEN Cong-wen had pure heart and the consciousness of concerning country and people.
