中国传统译论的战略传承与传播:翻译教材建设视角

On a Strategic Approach to the Inheritance and Spread of Traditional Chinese Translation Theories via Translation Textbooks

在近两千年中国翻译历史长河中,传统译论如璀璨珍珠,散落于不同的时代。要让中国传统译论在现代语境下呈现特有魅力和活力,除了要加强对传统译论的梳理、溯源、诠释、创新等研究外,还要积极展开外部推力,开拓其传承和传播路径。本文认为主要有两大路径,一是加快经典性传统译论外译步伐,面向国际传播;二是加强传统译论教学力度,重点是构建系列翻译教材来承载、传承中国传统译论,设计本科生教材时重点聚焦翻译实践,研究生的教材着重阐述传统译论的"知其然",博士生的教材重点探索"所以然",然后通过潜移默化的课堂教学,使中国传统译论得到有效传承和弘扬。

Over two millennia of Chinese translation history boast rich veins of Traditional Chinese Translation Theories（ TCTT）,the charm and vitality of which might be brought into daylight in modern context through its intrinsic as well as extrinsic study,the former,focusing on combing,tracing,interpreting and innovating TCTT and the latter,laying more emphasis on exploring wider channels to develop and publicize TCTT. Two major paths are offered in this paper. One is to quicken the translation pace of classical theories to meet the requirement of international spread. The other is to strengthen the efforts to pass down and carry forward the wisdom of the pioneers through designing a series of textbooks in varied teaching programs for students at BA,MA and Ph. D levels.
