Appreciating Idiomaticity of the English Versions of Hong Kong Policy Address

This paper studies the Chinese and English versions of policy address for years released by the Hong Kong government in order to probe into the idiomaticity of the English versions of policy address. It analyzes how the English versions of policy address are idiomatically translated with the hope that valuable references can be given to translating materials of political affairs at large.
